Cydni Lawson Morris was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, on January 23, 2004 to Pamela Morris and Bradley Lawson Morris. Cydni received her formal education in the Mansfield Independent School District, graduating from Lake Ridge High School in 2022, where she was a National Junior Honor Society Member and was on the MISD District All-Academic Team and Lake Ridge Eagles Girls Soccer Team. She was weeks away from attending Sam Houston State University on a soccer scholarship, where she planned on majoring in Communications with a minor in Sports Media.

Cydni was involved with many organizations including: Grand Prairie Fine Arts Dance Strand, Brown Girls Do Ballet (Ambassador), Family Musical Theatre at Cedar Valley College, Dallas Texans Soccer, Mansfield Revolution Select Soccer, Cedar Hill Recreation Soccer, Sam Houston State University Soccer Team, Bridges Safe House, The Red Cross, Stacia’s School of Dance, and The Dallas Conservatory.

Cydni loved to travel and was blessed to visit numerous places around the world. Paris, France, was one of her favorite places. She also traveled to Italy, China, Switzerland, and Mexico, to name a few. She was looking forward to the family home we plan to build in Belize, Central America. Belize was her paradise where she could learn about her heritage and spend time with her family.

Cydni Lawson Morris entered Heaven’s gates on July 1, 2022. She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory: her mother, Pamela Morris; her father, Bradley Lawson Morris; and an abundance of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly.
